Here is page 3 of 15 of my Little Brother comic. I’m not sure I’m totally happy with it and may still tweak it a bit. 

NOTE: For the curious - Tobacco and only tobacco goes into the Chanupa (Sacred Pipe).

Here is the next completed page in my Black Panther comic series, still in progress. This one took awhile as I tried to create an image that reflected the connection I feel between Black Panther and Kali.

Little Brother page 1

Here is the first of fifteen pages of a comic I am currently working on. This one differs from other comics I have done in that I finished thumbnailing the entire comic before ever penciling and inking any of the finished pages. Normally after thumbnailing a page I will immediately pencil and ink the final version of that page before thumbnailing the next one. I’m not sure yet if this is the way I will continue to create comics, but I am glad for the experience. 

A number of months ago I was blessed ceremonially to become a Sacred Pipe Carrier with the Chanupa, the Sacred Pipe, I’d acquired and hand carved. This comic is about a Soul Retrieval I performed on myself in the course of a series of three pipe ceremonies I’d done. For the sake of the simplicity of the comic, I condensed it into a single ceremony.
